Lyrics to Headspin(Rise Electric version)
Lukas Rossi’s Headspin is also finding it’s way in my playlist these days. I think Lukas sounds better with his old band Rise Electric on Headspin. Maybe because the TV sound mix is not that good on the Rockstar Supernova recordings like his fans say. But I wonder why it would affect him more than the other singers. Anyway the lyrics are much better than I initially thought. If he wins as everyone expects then Supernova better let him play a significant role in rewriting all the earlier songs.

I really think Lukas is amazing, he has pure talent. I love all of his songs he’s made with his band Rise Electric, and every song he’s sang on the show. He is just one of a kind. I have faith that he will go far. He deserves this. I knew from the first day he sang that he was amazing. In my eyes, he is too good for supernova. This is just my opinion, but the songs supernova has shown us, that’s no GNR and MC. I don’t know if i’d listen to supernova. BUT if lukas was the singer, he’d make it work. I mean, I think Lukas will do better with his band they have amazing stuff! If what he really wants is to be with supernova, then I wish all luck to him! But he will do well no matter what!

I think Lukas Rossi is over-rated sometimes, I don’t think his renditions of certain songs are as good as they are suppose to be. I understand that he is trying to give his own flavour but it’s suppose to rock with “Lukas’s flavour” and I find that missing sometimes.It’s just not rocking enough for me. He should have ended up in the bottom 3 more often. Personally, I can’t picture him in Supernova because of his kiddish face but with his talent, I won’t be surprise. To judge a person who writes his own songs by how cute or hot is he is totally ridiculous. Furthermore, I agree with what Incanus said, that he has been repeating his stage act. He needs something new.

Jeri: It will be a huge surprise if Lukas doesn’t win since it’s Tommy Lee’s project. T.Lee is reminded of his old wild days seeing Lukas so I think it was almost pre-decided that he will front the band. Like you lots of other females seem to love him too. So that helps a lot in T.Lee’s book.
Michelle: I get what you are saying. Been posting a lot that Supernova/Lukas would need a creative shift to accomodate each other. But I’m not sure if this is really a serious band or just a means to make some quick bucks. T.Lee has done similar stunts before- quitting and then re-joining MC for a impromptu re-union tour. And some lame solo stuff in between too.
Adelene: Completely agreed. There were a lot of songs where I thought Lukas’s vocals let him down bigtime. He can write good sensitive songs and bring out emotions in his original songs. But he doesn’t seem to have a hard rock voice or a powerful range either.
People are simply spoon fed on reality tv even on subjective stuff like music. If someone on tv says a singer is good then they’ll simply believe it’s so or vice-versa. Also sometimes people watch music more rather than hear it so all the flashy performers are appreciated more. Look at all the people who think Dilana’s Supersoul is a good song just coz they like her stage act.

I was all into Dilana after the Zombie cover, she rocked the house on that night. Then she just kept getting suckier, and Rossi kept putting on great stage shows, even if imperfect voicings.

Lukas touched me like few other rockers have… while he may not have the range some rockers do, his lyrics, stage presence, and overall talent make even his weaker vocals sympathetic, (NOT pathetic). He expresses himself with an old-soul pathos that really draws in a sensitive observer. And unlike Dilana, he seems to be a centered personality-type. Can you imagine being in a tour bus with Dilana for months on end?? They’d have to boot her out before the tour was over… she’s leaning toward psycho… no matter how gifted she is. I agree that the Aussie was talented, too, and see a future for Toby, as well as the Ice Man, but in my opinion, Nobody could touch Lukas Rossi. He was la creme de la creme, to be sure.

My first impression of Lucas Rossi was, omg he’s scary and what a freak! But, after that very first performance of his, on the very first night of the show, my husband, my son, and I all said, he’s the winner. As a matter of fact, it was confirmed in our eyes when Tommy Lee said,” two words…rock star”. I think he has all the range he’ll need singing with the band, he proved that with his performance of Creep, he fits with the band, has a lot of talent writing and arranging, and his voice is unique. His voice is what will stand out when you hear a song come on the radio, and you’ll know it’s SuperNova. My entire opinion of him changed that first night. And when he performed Creep in the 6th episode, just like Tommy Lee, it gave me goosebumps. I think he did an outstanding job all the way through on the show and deserved to win. I also have to addmit that I think he’s a cutie myself, and omg….i’m 55.

Thanks for the tab! If anyone is interested, quite a few Cleavage and Rise Electric tracks can be found on LIMEWIRE. Watch out for viruses!!! Other than “Headspin”, two of my favourites are “Bored and Gorgeous” and “Trust Me”. Lukas definitely has diversity. I’m no psychic but RICH and FAMOUS are definitely in his future!!!

Woo. My mom thought I was crazy for liking Lukas’s look/voice. I heard his song with RS this morning on the radio and I was literally like *bolts up right in bed homg!* His songs always get stuck in my head. Although Toby and Dilanas songs were pretty damned good too. I would have been happy if any of those three won. But alas. Lukas is amazing.

Lukas is great and its awesome that he won. I think if anyone dislikes that fact that he did win, they shouldnt be on this site expressing so.. especially with so many of his fans on here.

Lukas is good. Period. I don’t think the band he needs to be in is Supernova. Supernova could have done better with the Iceland man or Toby. Lukas song is killer. I have yet to hear the original version, but the lyrics give me goosebumps when I listen to them in my car. I realize he dedicated this to his mom. Well, it makes a lot of sense to my lover in whom I think when I hear this song. I am sure Tommy will help him polish this song, can’t wait to hear it. And, yes Lukas has much to grow, but he is a good seed. I am sure he will do just fine.

Wow Lukas rocks. I met him and he’s amazing. I couldn’t believe that I was actually there in the same room with him, talking to him. He’s so sweet and kind and funny. He’s such a goof too. I think this is a great song and a great way how to make a connection with some one who you are related to but neever got the chance to meet. I would hope fo that some one to meet up with their family member like Lukas Rossi here in this situation!
