I’ve been listening to the original version of Storm Large’s Ladylike a lot these days. Looking at the lyrics you can figure out why Supernova was so reluctant to give her even half a chance to front their band. They’d just be blown away with the raw feminist power of those words ! But I guess we have to credit Rockstar Supernova to have given an independent artist like Storm a chance to showcase her work on national TV. So it’s not all bad.

I agree, the “R” version has more ‘umph’ to it than the “PG” version I first heard on RS:S.
I’m actually really happy that Storm didn’t get the gig with RS:S, as they would of made her sing ‘c*ck-rock’ lyrics and these little gems would of been surpressed.

This song is so empowering. Everytime i hear it and my husband is in the car i know he is just groaning inwards but its ok. The r rated version is the only way to go. i LOVE how she kinda flips out at the end of the song. yea. this is a great great song
